Passam is the former royal chef for Primera Luna Avion and former steward aboard the Odile. He's a capable chef, but nowhere near as good as Tokushima Hajime.

Appearance

In the manga, Passam is a fat man in his late 40s or early 50s with swept-back hair, a mustache, and a small beard.

Behavior

Passam has a huge ego and gets jealous easily when it is suggested that there are better chefs than him. Even after leaving Primera, he continues to brag that he was a royal chef and can produce food of the same quality.

Plot

Passam is first encounted at Primera's luncheon with Shura No Arch and Odette Ze Nebula where he informs the princess that food she likes is unavailable due to the pirate blockade.

He later accompanies Primera on her diplomatic mission to Schilaff, but is usurped when Primera learns that Odette was taking food that Tokushima had prepared for the rowers because it tasted better. Passam gets involved in Curacao's mutiny and later departs with him to join the pirate forces during the battle of East Redoubt Reef.

Later still, he signs on aboard the Odile as their chef. When he is let off in Meggido Island he gets into a fight with Tokushima about food, leading to a public cooking competition to decide who is the better chef. After losing, Passam claims that Tokushima and his teammates were Tinayan spies and get them locked up. Drake do Mojito later forces Passam to admit to his actions before sending Odile Ze Nebula to rescue them. Passam is ejected from the Odile's crew, and likely signed on with a different ship.
