The Tree Goddess Wareharun (樹神ワレハルン Jushin Wareharun) is a Goddess and the Spirit of the Forest.
Goddess and Religious Practices
Wareharun started as the collective consciousness of a forest somewhere in the Special Region. At some point, she elevated and became a Goddess. Rather than having a capitol city like Hardy's Bellnahgo, Wareharun occupies multiple forests around the continent of Falmart, and has the ability to seed more.
Aside from simple trees, Wareharun is able to raise large cathedral-like structures made of plants, such as the one produced for hosting the marriage of Bozes and Tomita during Gaiden 2.
Followers of Wareharun typically do not dress at all, and this poses a problem when Wareharun is invited to Alnus. She takes a liking to camouflage uniforms and ghillie suits, and begins suggesting that her followers take up similar outfits.
Fruit Puppet "Apostle"
Wareharun has no Apostle, and instead attends events using a fruit puppet avatar grown from one of her forests. This avatar takes the appearance of a woman in her early twenties with green hair and skin. The skin is said to have a fleshy-elastic feel to it and it turns from green to pink over a period of several weeks. While Wareharun in this form has no personality quirks to speak of, the avatar is shown TALKING IN ALL CAPS in dialogue.
The fruit avatar is capable of taking in nutrients through one of two methods. One is through photosynthesis, which requires the puppet to be nude like her followers. The alternate method is intercourse with a humanoid male. While at the grand festival, Wareharun selects the femboy Emroy priest(ess?) Moey for this function.
At the end of whatever ceremony the fruit puppet it sent to, rather than returning it to the forest, the fruit puppet is set to deanimate and then be cut up and served as dessert to the people attending the function. While the Japanese find this horrifying, the natives do not seem to mind other than Moey, who is saddened to be assigned the task of cutting up his 'first love'.
